Sebastian Lemm is a graduate of the Berlin University of the Arts who has quickly risen to popularity on the international arts scene. He has had more than 30 exhibitions in the United States alone at such prestigious galleries as: Sean Kelly Gallery (“Unframed First Look” exhibition, 2004), Platform Gallery (Seattle, WA), Bank Gallery (Los Angeles, CA), Ellen Curlee Gallery (St. Louis, MO), and Margaret Thatcher Projects, Pierogi, Peer Gallery and Art Omi (New York). Among the many publications that have chosen to feature his work are: Los Angeles Times, The Village Voice, and the New York Times. Sebastian Lemm’s work appeared in the art-anthology Light and Lens by Robert Hirsch, which also includes artists Edward Burtynsky, Adam Fuss, Andreas Gursky, Jenny Holzer, and Martin Parr.
