The Chicago Public Library is pleased to welcome back Julia Alvarez to read from and sign her novel, Saving the World. Ms. Alvarez will also offer a visual presentation of her work. This event is co-sponsored by and will be held at the National Museum of Mexican Art. Julia Alvarez’s book, In the Time of the Butterfly, was the One Book, One Chicago Fall 2004 selection.
