Bulls, Blackhawks turn to post-season
The Chicago Bulls are wrapping up their regular season Wednesday night. They'll end their season at the top of the Eastern Conference, maybe even the league if they win their ninth game in a row tonight against New Jersey at the United Center. The Bulls haven't lost since March 28. Tuesday night, they beat the New York Knicks, 103-90. Derrick Rose walked away with 26 points and Luol Deng with 23.
Meanwhile, the Blackhawks begin their first game of the playoffs against their top-ranked rivals, the Vancouver Canucks. Earlier this week, Jonathan Toews told reporters he thought the Blackhawks have been playing playoff-calibur hockey; nevermind that they barely made it into the post-season.
"I think a lot of people can argue that we're a playoff team," Toews said. "If you get there, you never know what can happen."
The Blackhawks look to defend last year's Stanley Cup championship Wednesday night in Vancouver.
