Eight Forty-Eight

Chicago-bound refugees navigate a long and winding road

For some leaving their home country, finding a new life in the U.S. can be complicated. Marie Jochum is a community resource developer for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago.  She joined Eight Forty-Eight to explain the long and difficult road many refugees must travel before they arrive in the U.S. and what challanges they face once they join Chicago’s own large and diverse refugee community.
