It’s official. Erwin Dreschler is closing his longtime Lakeview restaurant erwin on July 1. The restaurant was a breeding ground for some of Chicago’s most innovative chefs, including Paul Kahan and Mindy Segal, and focused on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Chef Dreschler joined Afternoon Shift to reflect on his career and what’s next.
