In ironic news of the day, Chicago kids who garden as part of their curriculum don’t actually get to eat what they grow.  Red tape from the school district prevents the kids from eating their bounty due to the produce lacking strict regulations says UPI.  The bounty from the 40 schools that have gardens is currently sold or given away. The media is still buzzing about the trouble at the Tribune. Specifically about Randy Michaels.  Everyone’s asking will he or won’t he? Resign from the Tribune, that is.  Our media critic, Robert Feder’s post yesterday pondered this very question. As of yesterday, as notes in The Financial Times, Micheals had declared he still worked at the Tribune after coming out of a board meeting. Today, however, Business Week and the LA Times take a firm stance saying Michaels will resign by the week’s end and will be replaced by a four person committee. And naturally, Gawker has uncovered even more stories of bad behavior from the now infamous CEO.
