In less than a week voters will decide who they want to run the City of Chicago. To make things a bit easier, Eight Forty-Eight has been holding one-on-one conversations with all the candidates for Mayor. Host Alison Cuddy spoke with Miguel Del Valle, Carol Moseley Braun, Patricia Van Pelt-Watkins and Rahm Emanuel. Wednesday, William “Dock” Walls III stopped by Eight Forty-Eight.

Walls is a graduate of IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law. He first entered the political arena in 1980s, when he served under the late Chicago Mayor Harold Washington. Walls also served as National Political Director under the Reverend Jesse L. Jackson’s at Rainbow PUSH.

William “Dock” Walls has previously run for elected office. He ran for Mayor in 2007. He also ran for governor, city clerk and for Illinois’ 1^st Congressional seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
