The poorest province in Colombia is called Choco province. The Ingigounous and Afro-Columbians communities that populate the area don’t even have health care readily accissible. Alan Gomez, co-founder of Radio Populares, is taking steps to train community heath care providers in Choco. Radio Popularez is a global activism group which builds community radio stations in Latin America.
