Despite Slow Progress, High-Speed Rail Advocates Persist In Their Faith
The Midwest High-Speed Rail Association held its fall luncheon in Chicago on Friday. No projects have been funded in the region since the Association’s founding in 1993.
“It just takes a little faith, is all,” said board president Stan Miller. “It will come.”
When asked about a timeline, Miller said, “Boy, that’s the 64 Dollar Question isn’t it?”
Now 72 years old, he said he “absolutely” expects it to happen in his lifetime. “But I’m in good shape.”
