Donors Forum’s Annual Luncheon is considered the region’s premier networking and educational event for staff members, volunteers, and advisors engaged in philanthropy, nonprofits, and social ventures. It is open to all, regardless of membership in Donors Forum. Our keynote speaker at this year’s Luncheon was Cheryl Dorsey, President of Echoing Green, a pioneer in the social entrepreneurship movement. Her talk focused on how all of us whether we work for an operating nonprofit, corporate grantmaker, foundation, consulting firm, advisory group, or social venture fund can use principles of social entrepreneurship to create the most innovative solutions to social problems. These principles are drawn from the experience of the social entrepreneurs funded by Echoing Green as well as Dr. Dorsey herself.

Recorded live Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Chicago Hilton.
