Haiti, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Louisiana, Acadia, Quebec… All of these areas share the same French heritage. Their languages spring from French and their cultural values are often close and hint at related identities.

Listen in to an evening of storytelling with raconteurs from Louisiana, Acadia, Quebec, Africa, and the Caribbean. This event features Mimi Barthélémy, Barry Jean Ancelet, Myriame El Yamani, and Bienvenu Bonkian.

Recorded Friday, March 25, 2011 at Alliance Française de Chicago.
