Fish with Neck and Wrists on Display at Field

A fossil that scientists say is a significant discovery in the evolutionary chain just went on display at the Field Museum.

The much-touted find has been described as a missing link that's evidence of how creatures moved from water to land.

It's a fossil of a fish that's got a neck, and primitive wrists. It's heated up the debate over intelligent design.

And a University of Chicago scientist was in on the discovery ... published recently in the journal "Nature."

Chicago Public Radio's Lynette Kalsnes reports.
