Holocaust survivor Walter Reed discusses topics including: “How the Nazis Charmed the German People,” “Hiding the Holocaust from View” and “Today Germans and French Mourn and Honor the Victims.”

Walter Reed was born in Germany and led a peaceful childhood until the Nazis came to power in 1933. During Kristallnacht, he and his father were arrested and his father was interned in Dachau. Eventually Reed found refuge in the U.S., only to return to Europe as a G.I. in World War II. He has spoken throughout the U.S. and abroad about his experiences.
