Jaime Viteri of Chicago Latino Network hits the latin scene this weekend

The past few weeks have put a spotlight on all things Latin! The recent miraculous rescue of the Chilean miners riveted the world. Before that, the literary great Mario Vargas Llosa won the Nobel Prize in Literature.

So we got caught up in the celebrations. To figure out how to translate that into a weekend we turned to a man who’s got his finger on the pulse of Chicago Latinos. Jaime Viteri is President and Founder of the Chicago Latino Networkand he's our Weekly Guide

Jaime's Picks:
Buika and Lila Downs: A Tribute to Chavela Vargas at Chicago Symphony Center tonight at 8
Luna Negra Gala at Harris Theater at 6:30 p.m.
