Local Healthy Food Incentives Up For Senate Vote

This week the Illinois is expected to vote on a bill that would put $1 million toward doubling food stamp dollars in Illinois farmers markets. Supporters say it could help lower medicaid bills among low income shoppers. The bill is called the Healthy Local Incentive Fund.
