Chicago’s Ill Legit is one rapper who hasn’t received the attention he deserves. It’s not for lack of trying- he’s released more than 250 songs highlighting his original, diverse style. He’s known to collaborate with hip hop artists like Wes Restless but also rock bands like Loyal Divide. On his many mixtapes, the listener goes from straight up raw hip hop beats to dark synthy tracks to melodic soulful pop tunes.
