This exhibition presents the drawings of 23 Spanish artists. These artists come from a variety of different backgrounds, have distinctive ways of understanding the medium, and use everything from the simplest and rudimentary techniques to the latest technologies to draw. Together, these artists give us a profound sense of the heterogeneity of current Spanish drawing, suggesting that we will witness the regeneration of drawing as an autonomous discipline. After all, the line is the base, the origin, and the frame behind the visual experience.

Explore and discover one of the most rigorous and underestimated of the arts. This exhibition is curated by Blanca Soto and will run from May 18, 2011 to July 6, 2011.
