Richard Steele talks the social and historical significance of hats

Until the mid 20th Century, a hat wasn’t just attire. It also signaled a person’s status. Now they're back, for men and women, but do they mean the same thing? WBEZ’s Richard Steele was curious about the availability and significance of hats in Chicago, and he set off to find out more and provided this report.
