Sexual Abuse Lawsuit Against Boy Scouts Allowed To Proceed
In a rare move, the Illinois Appellate Court is allowing a more than 20-year-old sexual abuse lawsuit against the Boy Scouts of America to proceed. Sixteen plaintiffs are suing the Boy Scouts. They allege they were sexually abused by their Scoutmaster in the 1980s. The ruling clears the way for a jury trial.
