On December 10th TEAM Englewood hosted its 1st annual poetry slam. The event was open to any student to participate. Ten students performed in front of 250 of their peers. The event was hosted by Kevin Covall and Robbie Q. Telfer with DJ Itch spinning. The students were competing for spots on the TEAM Englewood poetry team as well as visa gift cards. Thanks to the poetry slam, we are beginning to create a culture of artistic excellence and appreciation at our school.
