Four years ago, a small group of disability advocates organized the first disability pride parade, an event to share and build disability pride, culture and history.  Each year, one night before the parade, parade participants and others gather for a night of poetry, prose and music.  This year, Parade Grand Marshall Tony Coelho stopped by the Open Mic to open the event with a warm welcome.

Recorded Friday, July 25, 2008 at McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum.
