This event took place as part of the 2009 Printers’ Ball.  The Printers’ Ball, founded by Poetry magazine, is hosted each year in collaboration with Chicago literary organizations.  This year the event was hosted by Columbia College Chicago and the Center for Book & Paper Arts in the historic Ludington Building. An annual celebration of print culture, Prinkers’ Ball features thousands of free magazines, books, and broadsides; live readings and music; letterpress, offset, and paper-making demonstrations; and much more.  See photos from this year’s event, and read all about what took place.

Recorded Friday, July 31, 2009 at Columbia College of Chicago - Center for Book & Paper Arts.
