NWA is excited to collaborate with The BeeHive Design Collective, a non-profit political organization that uses graphical media as educational tools to communicate stories of creative resistance and to “cross-pollinate the grassroots.” The 100% volunteer-driven collective will produce a 2-hour presentation on their 14’x 18’ portable mural titled “The True Cost of Coal.” The graphic uses mountain top removal as a lens through which to understand the historical and contemporary story of energy, resource extraction, and its impact on American advancement globally. The presentation is open to the public.
