A series of missteps on offense led the Chicago bears to a 17 to 14 loss to the Washington Redskins Sunday afternoon.

Quarterback Jay Cutler was sacked four times and was plagued by turnovers throughout the game.

“Obviously it’s very discouraging right now [to] let a game get away from us,” Cutler told reporters after the game. “You know, [the] defense had every right to be mad at us. You know, we blew that game offensively. You know, and most of that falls on my shoulders.”

Bears linebacker Lance Briggs left the game during the first quarter with an ankle injury.

After starting the season undefeated, the Chicago Bears have lost three of their last four games and now have a record of four wins and three losses.

The Bears have Sunday off.  They’ll be on the road to play the Bills on Nov. 7 in Toronto.
