Website Raises Money to Build Dome Over Chicago

It’s times like this that make you want to just build a big dome over Chicago and shut out the weather completely. But Andrew Mason says it’s not so far-fetched. His company, The Point, is spearheading a campaign to raise the necessary funds – about $10 billion, by their estimate.

Within two days of launching, they’d secured pledges of more than $100,000. A few of those pledges look a bit dubious, but others seem legit. Mason joined us recently to explain how The Point works, and why Chicago ought to be encased in glass.
