Previous Next
Illinois has a serious pension problem…about $83 billion serious. That’s how much the state is currently on the line for in unfunded pension liabilities.

Put on your thinking caps and call Thursday's Afternoon Shift at 312-923-9239 just after 2:00pm on Thursday with your suggestions. We’ll have Jason Grotto, staff reporter on the Chicago Tribune’s investigative team, and Laurence Msall, President of the Civic Federation, on hand to weigh in as well.
