Illinois has a serious pension problem…about $83 billion serious. That’s how much the state is currently on the line for in unfunded pension liabilities.

State lawmakers have been scrambling to pass pension reform, but there’s been less agreement on what that reform should look like. The debate has turned pretty heated at times.

So as legislators wrap up their last regular day of spring session, we’re turning to you for potential solutions on Illinois’ pension crisis. Are there options we should be considering that haven’t come to light or aren’t currently on the table?
