The Edward P. Robinson Community Veterans Memorial is a six-and-a-half-acre park located in Munster, Indiana. The park features life-size momuments marking World War I, World War II’s European theater as well as the Pacific theater and the homefront, Korea, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf.

Etched bricks line the walkway depicting a historical narrative of major historical events along which the powerful images of warfare are displayed.

The Memorial’s stated mission is as follows:

To honor and remember veterans of foriegn wars and those currently serving

To educate future generations about how veterans fought to preserve our freedoms

To challenge our societies to break the cycle of war and abolish propensity for history to repeate itself

When: Open dawn to dusk, weather permitting
