A mother is offering a $2,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the person who shot her son on a Chicago expressway.

Jonathan Ortiz was fatally shot while driving on I-290 in September.

Jackie Ortiz said her son had no gang affiliation and was planning to move out to LA to pursue a career in music.

She said the police have no leads yet on who killed her son. 47 expressway shootings have been reported in Chicago this year, which is 10 more than last year’s total.
