Starting Friday, residents of the TRC Senior Village in Bronzeville will be able get a ride in an electric car to a nearby Walgreens, CTA station, and other spots around the neighborhood. The service is part of a pilot program sponsored by ComEd, which says it hopes to test the impact of electric vehicles on the electric grid. ComEd will collect data and feedback from the seniors over the next year. Each ride will cost $3.
