Cook County Hospital Systems Starts Demolishing Outpatient Clinic

Cook County’s Fantus Clinic, built in 1959, started to come down today. A more modern outpatient clinic will replace it. Fantus Clinic was named after Dr. Bernard Fantus, who founded the nation’s first Blood Bank at Cook County Hospital in 1937.
