The agency that investigates Chicago police shootings is re-opening its probe of the fatal shooting of a South Side man in 2014. The Chicago Police Department said an officer shot 19-year-old Roshad McIntosh after he pulled a gun and wouldn’t drop it. His family denies that, and now the Indipendent Police Review Authority is re-opening it’s investigation into the shooting. An IPRA spokesperson would only say the agency has “sufficient reason” to do so.
