The first of 42 luxury homes being built on open city land in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood has been purchased. Alderman Pat Dowell and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel toured the half a million dollar home this afternoon. It’s part of a parade of homes initiative launched earlier this year.
