A Diploma-less Approach To Education
After growing up in Willowbrook, IL, Manish Jain felt compelled to give back to his ancestral India.
Jain’s conventional education at Harvard and Brown and his career at multilateral institutions like UNESCO left him feeling there had to be better alternative approaches to education.
So he and a group of friends moved to India and founded Swaraj University. The school includes an urban youth center and a biodiverse ashram. Worldview visited Swaraj University last year, and we get an update from Jain for our Global Activism segment.
