Nahidh Shaou was five years old when his family brought him to the U.S. from Iraq. Fifty years later, he now faces deportation back to Iraq.

Shaou is a U.S. Army veteran and Chaldean Christian. He speaks no Arabic and has no family left in Iraq. For these reasons, Shaou says sending him back is the equivalent of a death sentence.
