The war in Yemen has caused what the UN says is now the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. Three-quarters of the population is in need of aid and protection. Experts predict a third wave of cholera is about to hit the country. The Chicago based organization MedGlobal has made multiple trips to Yemen to provide medical care. They’ve established good working relationships in Ma’rib province in central Yemen, a relatively safe region that’s overrun with displaced people, We talk with two GlobeMed physicians who are just back from Yemen, Zaher Sahloul whose made several trips and Imran Akbar who made his first trip.
