Christian Petzold on his film 'Phoenix'

Director Christian Petzold’s latest film, “Phoenix” has been described as “a haunting portrait of identity, loss and the search for answers in post-WWII Berlin. “ “Phoenix” tells the story of Nelly Hoss, a Jewish cabaret singer who survived Auschwitz, only to be shot in the face in the last desperate days before liberation.
