Danish WWII Film In Running For An Oscar

The Danish film Land of Mine is competing for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language film.

The movie takes places at the end of World War II, and tells the story of a group of German POWS ordered to defuse 45,000 land mines buried on a beach in Denmark.

WBEZ film contributor Milos Stehlik tells us more about the film and discusses the box office success of Hidden Figures.
