Iraq to select new Prime Minister, but not without resistance from Al-Maliki
It’s been an eventful weekend in Iraq. On the political front, Prime Minister, Nuri Al-Maliki, gave a defiant speech on Iraqi Television. And Iraq's new president has asked deputy speaker of parliament, Haider al-Abadi, to form a new government. On the military front, U.S. airstrikes have helped Kurdish forces retake two towns near Erbil. Christine van den Toorn talk to us about the current military, political and humanitarian strife in Iraq.
