Iraqi Yazidis still suffer after 'liberation' from ISIS
A couple of months ago, Mount Sinjar in Iraq made news as ethnic Yazidis fled to the mountain for safety from Islamic State. U.S.-backed Kurdish forces along with U.S. airstrikes reportedly “liberated” the Yazidis, but news from on-the-ground may tell a different story. We’ll get an update from Christine van den Toorn, director of the Institute for Regional and International Studies at The American University of Iraq-Sulaimani (AUIS).
