Stefano Boeri is a world-renowned architect and urban planner based in Milan, Italy and a champion of sustainable design.
One of his many famed projects is “Bosco Verticale” (Vertical Forest) in Milan — two residential towers covered with 900 trees and 20,000 plants.

Boeri is also a professor of urban planning at the Polytechnic University of Milan. His most recent book is A Vertical Forest: Instructions Booklet for the Prototype of a Forest City.
