Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac Volume 1 raises eyebrows

Here's how the film begins. An aging man, (Stellan Skarsgaard), goes to a small grocery store and on his way back finds a badly beaten woman, Joe (played by Charlotte Gainsbourg) sprawled in an alley. He manages to wake her and bring her to his apartment. There, she tells him her life story as a nymphomaniac. The film is being released in two parts. Nyphomaniac Volume 1 opens today. WBEZ film contributor Milos Stehlik, who says he normally likes Von Trier's films, tells us why, in this case "sex on film, in and of itself, is not interesting."
