Lawmakers in Ukraine’s capital of Kiev are certifying plans to fight corruption in its legal system 

The legislation is expected to adopt Western legal standards like placing limits on immunity for judges. The new rules will also establish an anti-corruption court. 

This comes as hostility between the Ukranian army and Russian-backed rebels is reaching its worst levels since last summer.
