Millions vote for new president of Tunisia

On Sunday voters in Tunisia cast their ballots to elect a new president, nearly four years since the Arab Spring ousted Ben Ali from power. Results are expected later this week. Last month, the Nidaa Tunis party won a majority in parliamentary elections, winning 85 out of 217 seats. Ikbel Achour was in Tunisia working on election monitoring. She’s just returned from Tunis. She joins us to discuss the results of yesterday’s vote. (photo: An election official writes counted votes on a board at a polling station in Tunis, Tunisia, Monday, Nov. 24, 2014.
