Negotiations with Iran continue

Negotiators from the P5+1 countries (US, France, UK, Germany, Russia, China) continue in talks with Iran in the hopes of reaching an agreement that would curb Iran’s s nuclear program in return for the lifting of crippling economic sanctions. The main worry is that Tehran will develop the capacity to enrich uranium on an industrial scale — the fuel required for nuclear weapons — build more reactors, and be in a position to build a nuclear warhead in a short period of time. Several self-imposed deadlines have passed and it remains unclear whether a deal will be made. Iranian-Americans Nari Safavi and Ahmad Sadri join us to discuss to discuss the talks.
