Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn on women's rights and Syria.

Sheryl WuDunn and Nicholas D. Kristof, co-authors of New York Times best-selling book, Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide, started an international movement drawing attention to oppressed women and girls around the globe. Kristof was in Syria recently and will tell us what he heard and saw. He and WuDunn are coming to Chicago to speak at the Chicago Foundation for Women’s (CFW) annual luncheon on October 8th. CFW raises money to fund and support organizations that help women and girls. (Photo: Flickr/Rahoul Ghose/PBS)
