Protesters demand resignation of Guatemalan president
President Perez Molina of Guatemala has been under growing pressure to resign due to a number of corruption scandals. Molina insists he will not step down. Thousands have been in the streets including campesinos and indigenous people in Guatemala City as part of the “Renuncia Ya” movement. Adriana Beltran of the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA) tells us what she thinks are the chances of Molina staying in office.
