Regional politics and the death of King Abdullah

President Obama is heading to Saudi Arabia to offer his condolences after the death, last week, of King Abdullah. He’ll meet with King Salman, who has taken over the throne. The two leaders are expected to discuss ISIS, the crisis in Yemen and the war in Syria. Laith Saud, visiting professor at DePaul University’s Religious Studies Department, joins us to talk about how the change in power in Saudi Arabia could impact the region and relations with the U.S. PHOTO: Members of the Saudi royal family carry the body of King Abdullah, who died early Friday during his funeral in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
