Russian village suffers due to Winter Olympics development in Sochi
Russia has spent more than 51 billion dollars on the Sochi Olympics, but the benefits of that money has escaped people who live a stone’s throw away from the action. The mountain village of Akhshtyr is just a short distance from a new high-speed rail and a new superhighway, but it might as well be thousands of miles away as it is cut off from desperately needed infrastructure and other necessities such as clean water says Rachel Denber from Human Rights Watch. She joins us from Russia and she'll tell us how the people of Akhshtyr have been treated during the Olympic expansion.
