Syria sees a surge in killings as peace talks continue
This week the Syrian opposition presented a 24-point-plan outlining how a political transition could take place inside Syria and end the fighting, which has been going on for three years. The fighting inside Syria has continued while the peace talks are taking place in Switzerland. According to a Reuters report, " more Syrians have been killed in the three weeks since peace talks began than at any other time in the civil war."
