Syrians share their stories of fear and hope

The UN estimates that at least 2 million Syrians have fled the country since the war began two years ago. Many participated in the protests that began the war. Many never expected to leave their country. Wendy Pearlman, an assistant professor of political science at Northwestern University, has interviewed more than 150 Syrian refugees.
